Putting Together a 3D Wooden Owl Puzzle!

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. Today’s post is going to be a little different from my normal posts. It is still going to revolve around crafts, but this time it’s also going to be puzzle related! Interested? Read on!

YouTube Video:

So I was walking through the mall one day, browsing through a very unique kinds of store when I spotted this little owl on a shelf (screen grab a pic of the packaging if you can)

Through closer inspection, I realized it was a 3D owl puzzle. Noticing I had found a craft (obviously) got me excited, and I ran to show my fiance what I had found. He allowed me to buy it and I couldn’t wait to get home to put it together! I had never done one of these before and, well, let’s just say, putting it together was a lot harder than I first imagined it would be. Check it out!

So he starts out looking a little skimpy, this was probably the hardest part right there. I didn’t read any directions, just jumped right in and hit record on my video. So that meant that I had no idea each piece was numbered on the back of the direction sheet. Silly me!

After a while I started to get the hang of it. I realize that I actually have to shave down some of the pieces to make sure they fit perfect. I was hoping each piece would just fit like a perfect puzzle!

Once the project was finished, I realized I can’t wait to get my hands on another one! It was a super fun, just-challenging-enough project that I recommend everyone who loves crafts try! Check out so more of my awesome photography below!I set up a little scenery for the little guy 🙂 !

If you really like this owl and don’t feel like making him yourself or you can’t find this one? I’m thinking of adding him to my Etsy page and putting him up for sale! Probably around the $8-$9 mark. If anyone is interested in purchasing, comment below and I will for sue put him up for sale! For now though, I will have some company at my desk! Hah

Also, if you liked this craft and want to see me do more of these, let me know in the comments below please! I have a love for all crafts, not just crochet (Even thought that’s the majority of what’s up on my blog right now! lol) So let me know if you want to see me do more of this, or anything else I could try! It could also be crochet, if you have tutorials you want to me to give on something! I’d love to get ideas from you guys 🙂

But that’s all I have for you guys today! Have a great rest of your day!

If you missed out on my last post, Tutorial- How to Crochet a Halloween Ghost! , go here to check it out! And come back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for more!
